Anchor inspection & recertification

If people tie off on your roof, the anchors have to be inspected and recertified annually. An anchor out of certification is an anchor nobody can use, so the work stops until it is done.

How an inspection runs

How often do roof anchors need recertifying?

Annually, and again after any fall event, any structural alteration to the roof, or any visible damage to an anchor or the substrate it is fixed into. What New Brunswick requires.

What do we actually receive after an inspection?

An inspection report covering every anchor on the building, pass or fail.

What areas do you cover?

New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, with the bulk of the work around Moncton, Fredericton and Saint John. Every service is available across both provinces. See the full service area.

Do you clean windows at homes as well as commercial buildings?

Yes. Residential window cleaning is part of the work, inside and out, with screens, sills, ledges and tracks included. More on residential window cleaning.

Do you clean glass with a drone?

Yes. Hightower is the first New Brunswick-owned business to offer drone glass cleaning. Tell us about the building and we will say whether a drone is the right way to clean its glass. More on drone glass cleaning.

Do you clean windows in winter?

Yes, year round. The crew is experienced with cold-weather technique and the products are formulated to work in a New Brunswick winter. More on winter work.

Are your products safe to use around people and planting?

We use commercial-grade products chosen to be eco-friendly, which matters most on pressure washing and softwash where runoff reaches ground you care about.

Are you insured?

Fully licensed, bonded and insured, and a registered member of WorkSafe NB, with regular safety training. If you need our certificate of insurance for contractor pre-qualification, ask and we will send it. More on how we work safely.
