Who buys this

Commercial window cleaning is bought by somebody who is responsible for a building rather than living in it. Property managers, facility managers, storefront owners and whoever holds the maintenance budget.

Most of our commercial work is repeat work, which is the only review of a window cleaner that counts. Hospitals, emergency service locations and government buildings across New Brunswick have held contracts with us for years, and those are clients who cannot afford a supplier who is only sometimes good.

Buildings we clean

  • Retail and rental property
  • Corporate offices
  • Restaurants
  • Hospitals, emergency service locations and government buildings
  • Multi-tenant and storefront property

What the job includes

The same scope on a storefront as on a hospital. Nothing in this list is an add-on line on the invoice.

Every pane of glass, inside and out

Every pane of glass is washed, squeegeed, then polished with micro-fibre. Interior and exterior are both part of the job rather than two quotes.

Sills, screens, ledges and tracks

Sills are wiped on the outside. Screens and ledges are washed on the inside. Frames and tracks are detailed.

Commercial-grade, eco-friendly products

Commercial-grade products chosen to be eco-friendly, and proper equipment. The same standard we have held since 1987.

Our own crew, our own insurance

Every service Hightower sells is delivered in-house rather than sub-contracted, so the people on your building are the people you hired and the insurance covering them is ours.

Scheduling and pre-qualification

Commercial work runs either as a single visit or on a schedule you set. Seasonal is the common pattern. To quote it we need the building type, the number of floors and how often you want it done.

If your procurement process needs documents before a supplier can be approved, ask. Hightower is fully licensed, bonded and insured, the crew takes part in regular safety training, and we will send our certificate of insurance and our safety documentation for contractor pre-qualification.

How we work safely

If crews tie off on your roof

Window cleaners, roofers, sign installers and HVAC crews cannot tie off to an anchor that is out of certification, so the work stops until it is recertified. Anchor systems must be inspected annually, and again after any fall event, any structural alteration to the roof, or any visible damage to the anchor or its substrate.

Hightower does both halves of that problem. We clean the windows, and we inspect and recertify the anchors, with a written report on every anchor. One supplier, one certificate of insurance.

Questions we get asked

If the answer you need is not here, phoning is faster than a form.

Can you clean a commercial building on a fixed schedule?

Yes. Commercial window cleaning runs seasonally or on a schedule you set, and a single visit is also fine. Tell us the building type, the number of floors and how often you want it done, and we will quote it.

Do you clean the inside as well as the outside?

Yes. Interior and exterior are both part of the job. Sills are wiped on the outside, and screens and ledges are washed on the inside.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance for contractor pre-qualification?

Yes. Hightower is fully licensed, bonded and insured. If you need our certificate of insurance or our safety documentation for a pre-qualification process, ask and we will send it.

Do you clean commercial windows in winter?

Yes, year round. The crew is experienced with cold-weather technique and the products are formulated to work in a New Brunswick winter. More on winter work.

Do you also inspect the roof anchors our contractors tie off to?

Yes. Hightower inspects and recertifies roof anchors and permanent fall-arrest systems as well as cleaning windows, so one supplier covers both, under one certificate of insurance.
